Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures prices climbed on Tuesday due to increased spot demand. The rise was supported by higher bets from participants. Global crude oil prices also saw gains.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday climbed Rs 28 to Rs 6,399 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for February delivery traded higher Rs 28 or 0.44 per cent at Rs 6,399 per barrel in 6,077 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.32 per cent to USD 77.17 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.29 per cent higher at USD 82.24 per barrel in New York.
