Crude Oil Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Crude oil prices surged in futures trade on Monday, fueled by increased demand. WTI crude oil rose to USD 75.77 per barrel, and Brent crude traded at USD 79.91 per barrel.
New Delhi, Jun 10 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Monday climbed Rs 6 to Rs 6,329 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery traded higher Rs 6 or 0.09 per cent at Rs 6,329 per barrel in 8,140 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.29 per cent to USD 75.77 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.36 per cent higher at USD 79.91 per barrel in New York.
