Crude Oil Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures prices increased on Monday due to firm spot demand, with the Multi Commodity Exchange seeing a rise of Rs 98 per barrel. Global oil prices also saw gains.
New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Monday increased Rs 98 to Rs 6,794 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery traded higher by Rs 98 or 1.46 per cent at Rs 6,794 per barrel in 8,196 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 1.27 per cent at USD 81.53 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 1.13 per cent higher at USD 85.85 per barrel in New York.
