Delta Electronics and Tamil Nadu govt partner to establish a Centre of Excellence in Krishnagiri, offering advanced training in electronics, automation, and robotics.
Chennai, Jul 4 (PTI) Power and energy management company Delta Electronics India Pvt Ltd partnered with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) to establish a technical Centre of Excellence in Tamil Nadu.

The proposed Centre, to be set up in Krishnagiri district, will offer advanced training in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming, among others.

The facility will be equipped with Delta Electronics India's proprietary automation technology, smart classrooms, and a real-time simulation zone to ensure immersive learning, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the MoU signing, Delta Electronics India President Benjamin Lin said, "As India moves rapidly towards becoming a global manufacturing hub, skilled talent will be the key differentiator. This Centre of Excellence reflects Delta's commitment to inclusive progress by bringing together education, industry, and innovation."

The Centre will offer 3-6 month training programmes co-designed by experts from Delta Electronics India and aligned with global certification standards.

"We are grateful to TNSDC for their vision and look forward to supporting more such transformative projects," Lin added.

The centre will also focus on employability and diversity, with assured placement support and dedicated inclusion of women and economically disadvantaged youth.

Delta Electronics India Managing Director Niranjan Nayak said the company was proud to partner with the state government to build a future-ready skilled workforce.

"Through this Centre of Excellence, we are not only strengthening our commitment to nation-building but also creating pathways for underserved youth to access opportunities in high-growth sectors," he said.

The Centre aims to equip learners with job-relevant skills, certified training, and exposure to real-world factory environments, he added.
