Gold Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Gold prices slipped in futures trading today, falling by Rs 131 to Rs 73,180 per 10 grams, as speculators reduced their positions. The decline was attributed to weak global cues.
New Delhi, Jul 12 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 131 to Rs 73,180 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery traded lower Rs 131 or 0.25 per cent at Rs 73,180 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,709 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold was trading 0.55 per cent lower at USD 2,408.60 per ounce in New York.
