Gold Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Gold prices fell in India on Tuesday due to weak global cues. The October gold contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange traded lower by Rs 98 per 10 grams, closing at Rs 69,211.

New Delhi, Aug 6 (PTI) Gold prices on Tuesday declined Rs 98 to Rs 69,211 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 98 or 0.14 per cent to Rs 69,211 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 18,576 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold prices remained flat at USD 2,444.50 per ounce in New York.
