Gold Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Gold prices fell on Wednesday due to reduced speculation and weak global cues. Learn more about the decline in gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Feb 28 (PTI) Gold prices on Wednesday declined Rs 144 to Rs 62,157 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for April delivery traded lower Rs 144 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 62,157 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,941 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues. Globally, gold was trading 0.36 per cent lower at USD 2,036.80 per ounce in New York.
