Gold Futures Fall on Low Demand - MCX News

Gold prices declined Rs 39 to Rs 71,538 per 10 grams in futures trade on the MCX, attributed to weak global cues and reduced speculation.

New Delhi, May 24 (PTI) Gold price on Friday declined Rs 39 to Rs 71,538 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.


On the MCX, gold contracts for June delivery traded lower Rs 39 at Rs 71,538 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 7,184 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in the precious metal price to weak global cues.

Globally, gold was trading 0.15 per cent higher at USD 2,363.20 per ounce in New York.
