Gold Futures Fall on Low Demand: Prices Down Rs 103

Gold futures prices in India fell Rs 103 on Wednesday due to reduced speculator positions and weak global cues. Gold traded lower globally, impacting domestic prices.
New Delhi, Jan 3 (PTI) Gold prices on Wednesday fell Rs 103 to Rs 63,154 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for February delivery traded lower by Rs 103 or 0.16 per cent at Rs 63,154 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 14,760 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold was trading 0.20 per cent lower at USD 2,069.30 per ounce in New York.
