Gold Futures Slip on Low Demand - PTI

Gold prices fell marginally on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak global cues, with October contracts trading at Rs 72,037 per 10 grams. Gold prices in New York also declined.

New Delhi, Aug 27 (PTI) Gold prices on Tuesday marginally declined Rs 2 to Rs 72,037 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded marginally lower by Rs 2 to Rs 72,037 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 16,936 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold prices went down by 0.20 per cent to USD 2,550 per ounce in New York.
