Guar Gum Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures fell by Rs 10 to Rs 10,170 per quintal on Friday due to weak demand in the spot market and ample supplies.

New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday dropped Rs 10 to Rs 10,170 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for August delivery fell Rs 10 or 0.10 per cent to Rs 10,170 per quintal in 2,120 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
