Guar Gum Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures declined on Thursday, falling Rs 292 to Rs 11,664 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak spot market demand.

New Delhi, Oct 3 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday dropped Rs 292 to Rs 11,664 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for October delivery fell Rs 292 or 2.50 per cent to Rs 11,664 per quintal in 21,080 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
