Guar Gum Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices fell on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to low demand and ample supplies in the spot market.
New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday dropped Rs 41 to Rs 10,416 per 5 quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for January delivery fell Rs 41 or 0.39 per cent to Rs 10,416 per 5 quintals in 10,280 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
