Guar gum futures decline on low demand. Prices fell Rs 70 to Rs 8,514/quintal. Weak spot market trend and ample supplies cited as reasons.
New Delhi, Nov 25 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday fell Rs 70 to Rs 8,514 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for December delivery declined by Rs 70 or 0.82 per cent to Rs 8,514 per quintal in 43,700 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
