Guar Gum Futures Fall on Low Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices dropped Rs 13 to Rs 10,377 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak demand and ample supplies.

New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 13 to Rs 10,377 per quintal in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for August delivery fell Rs 13 or 0.13 per cent to Rs 10,377 per quintal in 8,000 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
