Guar gum futures prices dropped on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak demand and ample supplies in the spot market.
New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday dropped Rs 146 to Rs 10,787 per five quintals in the futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for May delivery fell Rs 146 or 1.35 per cent to Rs 10,787 per five quintals in 22,135 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
