Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supplies

Guar seed futures prices fell on Friday due to increased supply from producing regions, according to the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.

New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 31 to Rs 5,339 per quintal in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery fell Rs 31 or 0.58 per cent to Rs 5,339 per quintal with an open interest of 52,665 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
