Guar Seed Futures Decline on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures fell on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to increased supply from producing regions.
New Delhi, May 31 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 24 to Rs 5,546 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery plummeted Rs 24 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 5,546 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 21,995 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
