Guar Seed Futures Drop on Ample Supplies

Guar seed futures declined on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to increased supply from producing regions.
New Delhi, Jan 23 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined Rs 95 to Rs 5,509 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery plummeted Rs 95 or 1.72 per cent to Rs 5,509 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 72,920 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
