Guar Seed Futures Drop on Ample Supply - PTI

Guar seed futures prices declined on Friday due to increased supply from producing regions. The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange saw a dip in June contracts.
New Delhi, May 24 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Friday declined Rs 13 to Rs 5,504 per 10 quintals in the futures trade amid an increase in supply from producing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery plummeted Rs 13 or 0.24 per cent to Rs 5,504 per 10 quintals with an open interest of 49,865 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
