Guar Seed Futures Fall on Ample Supply

Guar seed futures decline on ample supplies. November contracts fall Rs 14 to Rs 4,859/quintal. Increasing supplies from growing regions cited.
New Delhi, Oct 9 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 14 to Rs 4,859 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery fell Rs 14 or 0.29 per cent to Rs 4,859 per quintal with an open interest of 42,720 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
