Guar seed futures prices rose on Thursday due to strong spot demand and thin supplies, driven by speculator activity on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Aug 8 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday rose Rs 1 to Rs 5,279 per quintal in futures trade after speculators widened their positions following a firm trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery rose Rs 1 or 0.02 per cent to Rs 5,279 per quintal with an open interest of 18,530 lots.
