Guar Seed Prices Fall: Ample Supplies Impact Futures

Guar seed futures decline Rs 35 to Rs 5,295/quintal on NCDEX due to ample supplies from growing regions. September contracts affected.
New Delhi, Aug 21 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Thursday declined Rs 35 to Rs 5,295 per quintal in futures trade amid ample supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for September delivery fell Rs 35 or 0.66 per cent to Rs 5,295 per quintal with an open interest of 56,460 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.
