Husk Power Secures $4 Million for Solar Minigrids Expansion

Husk Power secures $4 million from ElectriFI to expand its solar-hybrid minigrids business in India, bringing ElectriFI's total investment to $10 million.
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Husk Power has secured a funding of USD 4 million (over Rs 33 crore) from Europe-based ElectriFI and the company will use the proceeds to expand its solar-hybrid minigrids business in India.

With this, ElectriFI's total investment in the domestic solar company stands at USD 10 million after lending USD 6 million in September 2022, a joint statement said.

Husk Power Systems confirms securing of an additional USD 4 million in debt financing from ElectriFI, the statement said.

* Revenue Operations startup Clientelle raises Rs 20 crore
Revenue operations firm Clientelle on Monday said it has raised USD 2.5 million (about Rs 20.7 crore) in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures with participation from Chiratae Ventures, Artha Venture Fund and Silicon Valley based Z5 Capital.

The fund raise will be utlilised for strengthening the product and expanding the team, a company statement said.

The early-stage startup raised USD 600,000 (about Rs 5 crore) from Chiratae Ventures at the end of 2021, co-led by Artha Venture fund.
