Union Minister R K Singh outlines the significant transformation in India's power sector over the past nine years, including increased capacity, transmission network expansion, and ambitious renewable energy goals.
Mumbai, Jan 16 (PTI) Union minister R K Singh on Tuesday said the power sector has witnessed transformational changes in the last nine years.

Inaugurating the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association's (IEEMA) flagship event BID 2024 here, the power minister said the central government has a huge ambition in terms of energy transition and plans to have 500 GW of non-fossil-based electricity installed capacity by 2030.
