Silver Futures Drop Rs 189, Trade at Rs 94,379/kg

Silver futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 189 to Rs 94,379 per kg on Wednesday, driven by participant sell-off. Global silver prices traded higher in New York.
New Delhi, Feb 12 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday fell Rs 189 to Rs 94,379 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery declined Rs 189 or 0.2 per cent to Rs 94,379 per kg in a business turnover of 23,904 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels in the market mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, silver was trading 0.11 per cent higher at USD 31.85 per ounce in New York.
