Silver Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Dec 1 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday climbed Rs 36 to Rs 76,270 per kilogram in futures trade as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 36 or 0.05 per cent to Rs 76,270 per kg in 284 lots.

Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mainly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.

Globally, silver was trading 0.04 per cent lower at USD 25.65 per ounce in New York.
