Silver Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Silver prices climbed Rs 233 to Rs 82,467 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday, driven by firm spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to fresh positions built up on a positive domestic trend.
New Delhi, Apr 25 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday climbed Rs 233 to Rs 82,467 per kilogram in futures trade as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery increased Rs 233 or 0.28 per cent to Rs 82,467 per kg in 15,028 lots.

Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mainly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.

Globally, silver was trading higher 0.12 per cent at USD 27.66 per ounce in New York.
