Silver Futures Surge on Strong Spot Demand - PTI

Silver prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased spot demand and positive domestic trends. Global silver prices also rose.
New Delhi, Nov 30 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday climbed Rs 158 to Rs 75,930 per kilogram in futures trade as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 158 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 75,930 per kg in 792 lots.

Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mainly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.

Globally, silver was trading 0.22 per cent higher at USD 25.50 per ounce in New York.
