UPL Reports Wider Net Loss in Q2 FY25

UPL Ltd. reported a net loss of Rs 443 crore in the second quarter of FY25, driven by increased expenses. Consolidated income rose, but expenses surged by 11%.
New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) UPL Ltd's net loss widened to Rs 443 crore in the second quarter of 2024-25 due to higher expenditure, according to an exchange filing.

Net loss stood at Rs 189 crore in the same quarter a year ago, according to the filing.

The company's consolidated income increased to Rs 11,201 crore in quarter ended on September 30, 2024, from Rs 10,275 crore a year ago. Expenses rose by 11 per cent to Rs 11,505 crore during the second quarter of this fiscal.

UPL shares dropped 7.62 per cent to Rs 515.10 apiece on BSE on Monday.
