New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI) Electric two-wheeler maker Xero EVs and battery swapping platform VoltUp on Wednesday announced a collaboration to offer last-mile delivery charging solutions.

This partnership will leverage Xero's electric vehicle product Mink and VoltUp's swappable battery network of around 200 stations and aims to get 15,000 electric two-wheelers on the road within the next two years. It will also work towards leveraging the technology in other models of Xero two-wheelers, the company said in a statement.

"By integrating Xero's energy-efficient products with VoltUp's swappable battery network, we are creating a solution that not only meets but exceeds the demands of last-mile delivery partners," Xero EV Co-Founder Bharat Pritmani said.

The integration of VoltUp's platform into Xero EVs Mink model will significantly reduce charging times, enabling riders to optimise their time on the road and eliminate the waiting game associated with traditional charging or fast charging stations, Ritesh Singh, VoltUp Head - Business & Strategy, said.
