Zinc prices fell 0.21% on Monday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. Speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Nov 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.21 per cent to Rs 279.30 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded 60 paise or 0.21 per cent lower at Rs 279.30 per kg in 3,119 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
