Zinc futures prices fell on Monday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. Speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Mar 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.26 per cent to Rs 273.40 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded 70 paise or 0.26 per cent lower at Rs 273.40 per kg in 194 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
