Zinc futures prices fell today due to muted demand from consuming industries. Speculators reduced their positions, leading to a drop in prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Jun 20 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell 0.08 per cent to Rs 260.65 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by 20 paise or 0.08 per cent at Rs 260.65 per kg in 1,479 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
