Zinc prices fell 0.32% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by reduced speculator exposure and weak demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.32 per cent to Rs 251.40 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for August delivery traded 80 paise or 0.32 per cent lower at Rs 251.40 per kg in 1,949 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
