Zinc prices decline 0.39% to Rs 287.45/kg in futures trading due to reduced exposure and weak demand. November contracts affected.
New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.39 per cent to Rs 287.45 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 1.15 or 0.39 per cent at Rs 287.45 per kg in 1,269 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
