Zinc prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to muted demand from consuming industries. Speculators reduced their exposure, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Nov 29 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell by 0.37 per cent to Rs 226.40 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded lower by 85 paise or 0.37 per cent at Rs 226.40 per kg in 2,960 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
