Zinc Futures Rise on Demand: MCX Trading

Zinc futures climb on MCX due to increased spot demand. October contracts up Rs 2.70. Learn about zinc price trends and market analysis.
New Delhi, Sep 25 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 2.70 to Rs 287.75 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 2.70 or 0.95 per cent to Rs 287.75 per kilogram with a business turnover of 3,080 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
