Zinc prices surged 10 paise to Rs 221.85 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increasing spot demand and strong market sentiment. Learn more about the zinc market.
New Delhi, Nov 3 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose 10 paise to Rs 221.85 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by 10 paise or 0.05 per cent at Rs 221.85 per kg with a business turnover of 3,615 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
