Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the zinc futures market.
New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 1.85 to Rs 276.90 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher Rs 1.85 or 0.67 per cent at Rs 276.90 per kg with a business turnover of 2,551 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
