Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 45 paise to Rs 257.80 per kilogram on Tuesday, driven by increased spot demand and widening of positions by participants.
New Delhi, Jun 25 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose 45 paise to Rs 257.80 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher 45 paise or 0.17 per cent at Rs 257.80 per kg with a business turnover of 2,292 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
