Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on Monday in the futures trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by a pick-up in spot demand. Marketmen attributed the rise to widening positions by participants.
New Delhi, Jul 15 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose 65 paise to Rs 273.95 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher 65 paise or 0.24 per cent at Rs 273.95 per kg with a business turnover of 2,362 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
