Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand | PTI

Zinc prices rose on Thursday on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased demand from consuming industries. November contracts traded higher by Rs 2.24 per kg.
New Delhi, Nov 2 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 2.45 to Rs 224.65 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 2.24 or 1.1 per cent at Rs 224.65 per kg with a business turnover of 4,006 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
