Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 2.65 to Rs 214.70 per kilogram in futures trade, driven by increased demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose Rs 2.65 to Rs 214.70 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery traded higher Rs 2.65 or 1.25 per cent at Rs 214.70 per kg with a business turnover of 1,994 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
