Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose 25 paise to Rs 257.10 per kilogram in the futures trade on Friday, driven by increased spot demand and widening positions by participants.
New Delhi, May 3 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose 25 paise to Rs 257.10 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher 25 paise or 0.1 per cent at Rs 257.10 per kg with a business turnover of 3,073 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
