Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Zinc prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the factors driving this rise.
New Delhi, Feb 22 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.20 to Rs 214.60 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery traded higher Rs 1.20 or 0.56 per cent at Rs 214.60 per kg with a business turnover of 1,489 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
