Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand - PTI

Zinc prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. Learn more about the factors influencing zinc futures.
New Delhi, May 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose Rs 3.25 to Rs 262.05 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher Rs 3.25 or 1.26 per cent at Rs 262.05 per kg with a business turnover of 3,821 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
