Aluminium Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Aluminium futures prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to weak demand from consuming industries. The price dropped to Rs 222.75 per kg.
New Delhi, Sep 3 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined Re 1 to Rs 222.75 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September fell Re 1 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 222.75 per kg in 3,798 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
