Silver Futures Rise on Strong Spot Demand

Silver prices surged on Thursday driven by increased spot demand. MCX silver futures for December delivery closed at Rs 91,629 per kg, up 0.57%.
New Delhi, Oct 3 (PTI) Silver prices on Thursday rose Rs 254 to Rs 91,629 per kilogram as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 254 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 91,629 per kg in a business turnover of 1,328 lots.
Globally, silver was trading 1.13 per cent higher at USD 31.47 per ounce in New York.
