Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange surged 0.89% on Monday, reaching Rs 243.25 per kilogram, driven by speculator activity and positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, May 27 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 0.89 per cent to Rs 243.25 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for June delivery increased Rs 2.15 or 0.89 per cent to Rs 243.25 per kg in a business turnover of 3,323 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
